The brands of pastel was very helpful as I couldn’t have got that info when ordering online, or possibly from the art supplies either.
Mark making tips good info to try on a selection of different paper types to understand how to work with the sticks. Interesting about the dust. ! I’ve put off using pastels because of the dust and always assumed to get a vibrant result there must be a lot of dust rather than the brand and the pigment they use. Can’t believe how stupid that sounds.
Hi Suzy! Glad you found it all useful! Thank you so much for letting me know. Do check out the blog as well, as there are various articles on pastel dust, mark making, brands and more. And of course I have just released a short course ‘Pastel for Beginners’ in the online art school, if you are interested…. 🙂 Thanks again!
